On top of that, the nasal bridge also seemed a bit unnatural, so I decided on revision surgery. I think I went for consultations at all the hospitals famous for revision rhinoplasty... I even tried virtual plastic surgery lol I had the revision surgery at a hospital that showed lots of before-and-after photos and had a director I felt confident about.
The blunt, thick feeling of my nasal tip and the bulbous-nose look disappeared, and it became much more defined, and overall my nose feels slimmer! After the swelling went down and I saw the shape of my nose, I was so happyㅠㅠㅠ This was the kind of nose I wanted. I’m so happy to have escaped the bulbous-nose look.
Also, during the consultation, they said that a nose is not automatically pretty just because it is slim and narrow in width. They said that even if the width is narrow, it can look pinched, and if the surgery goes wrong, it can ruin the face. I completely agree with that...
My dad and mom were totally against revision rhinoplasty (their opinion was that I kept touching my nose, and what if it got worse after revision surgery...) but now that they saw the result, they said they were so relieved it turned out well, and that if I had gone here from the beginning, I would not have gone through such emotional stress. Everyone I meet says the surgery turned out so well, and I’m so happy. I never thought my nasal tip would become that defined and slim... It’s fascinating too!! But I also love that it does not look artificial from the front or side.
