In my case, before surgery, I had eyes that felt a bit stuffy, like small, narrow eyes, and I wanted them to become longer horizontally too. The outer corners of my eyes were sharply upturned, so I absolutely could never draw my eyeliner upward..
When taking photos, I used to edit them in Photoshop by lowering the outer part of my eyes, and after seeing a YouTuber’s review, I went in, had a consultation right away, and proceeded with the surgery. In my case, my right eye was more upturned, so they looked at my eyes from the front and said we should try to match both sides symmetrically lol They said they would match both sides as much as possible rather than making them look too straight downward, and after surgery, my eyes definitely got bigger. Noticeably lol I used to always fill in the triangular zone of my eyeliner heavily, but now my makeup has become much lighter too. My overall impression has improved a lot, so personally I count this as one of the surgeries I was really satisfied with. I liked that the before and after difference was clear
