One-Week Review After Alar Reduction

Rather than usually worrying that my nostril wings were extremely wide or that my nose was big, I thought it would be okay if they were reduced just a little from here, so I looked into alar reduction. When I looked at reviews from other clinics, there were many cases where the nostrils became too small or looked pinched. I thought maybe there was no alar reduction that would reduce them naturally the way I wanted, but after saving all the reviews I liked, they were all from the same clinic lol...

I booked a consultation, and first had a brief consultation with the consultant. She listened well and explained the types of alar reduction in detail. Then I consulted with the director, and he explained well that the scars and the resulting nose shape differ between the internal and external approaches..

On the day of surgery, a staff member explained the surgical details, and I checked once more with the director too. It finished really quickly, and at first it didn’t hurt, maybe because of the anesthesia, but as time passed there was a slight throbbing pain. It was tolerable, but it was a little uncomfortable that I couldn’t laugh or yawn~

Right after surgery, as in other reviews, it was tightly held in place, and my philtrum and the inside of my nose were swollen, so my philtrum looked extremely longㅠㅠ From day 3, the major swelling went down, and now at one week, swelling in my philtrum and upper lip still remains. When I look in the mirror, my alae are definitely neatly refined, and friends who didn’t know I had surgery say something looks prettier hehe
