Overall, if I were to say how I feel after surgery, I’d say I’m satisfied. Of course, at first I had bruising and it’s true that I felt anxious, but in the end, once I went on walks, drank pumpkin juice, and took care of myself, it wasn’t impossible after all.
I’m now a little over 3 weeks post-op, and to just give the conclusion: walking helped 80%. Pumpkin juice or Elas-A, maybe 20%? Honestly, I’m not sure. Keep that in mind later when managing swelling.
I recently went for a follow-up visit last week. I had the checkup with no particular issues, and since there really wasn’t anything wrong, they told me to come back in 3 weeks, so I think that might be my last follow-up visit.
