I’m on day 9 after revision rhinoplasty, and when I went to have the splint removed, there was blood pooling between my eyebrows, so they drew it out thoroughly with a syringe, and there was a slight sign of inflammation at the nasal tip, so they drew that out too, and now I have taping + cotton packing again...
When I said I was anxious and asked them to just remove the silicone now if that would be better, the doctor keeps saying it might get better with antibiotic treatment, and that it would be too bad to decide already... After getting the blood pooling aspirated with a syringe, it swelled up even more I feel like people on the street are only staring at my nose... I’m walking around looking exactly like a fish-human.
What I’m worried about is that even if it visibly gets better for now, this is a nose I’ll live with for the rest of my life, and I’m afraid it might seriously recur someday.. Is there anyone who had blood pooling aspiration + a slight early sign of inflammation and is living well now?
