Hello, as of today, it has been 2 weeks since my cheekbone reduction and endoscopic forehead lift
Day 8: I’m walking more than 10,000 steps every day
When I wake up, my forehead feels heavy and numb, like it’s anesthetized, but I can see the swelling going down
Day 9: As the swelling in my face gradually goes down, the aegyo-sal under my eyes that had disappeared because of the swelling is showing again
Day 10: My forehead area still feels like it’s protruding too much because of swelling, and the area between my eyebrows feels tight and firm, but I can see it gradually going down
Day 11: I bought and am applying two kinds of ointment so the scars will disappear quickly. The redness where the staples were placed on my scalp has almost all disappeared too, so the scars have faded to the point that only I can notice them.. My hair seems a little sparse around the surgical area... I’ll have to keep watching this. If I change my part, it doesn’t show. I did a little cold compressing until day 3 because my hands got cold, and after that, until day 11, I did warm compresses throughout the day whenever I could
Day 12: The yellow bruising is all gone, with only a very slight amount left. The numb, anesthetized feeling in my forehead is gradually getting better (the heaviness is slowly disappearing). The cheekbone swelling is going down unevenly, but I can feel the difference between morning and evening as it goes down
Day 13: It still feels pulled, but it’s slowly becoming more natural. The yellow bruising is all gone and is almost no longer visible. My two eyes are uneven; one side is pulled more, so the double-eyelid lines are slightly different. The cheekbone swelling is also going down unevenly, a tiny difference only I can notice. The cheekbone area and forehead area still have a tingling feeling like electricity running through them
Day 14: The swelling in my forehead and cheekbones has gone down quite a lot, so it’s about the level of swelling after eating ramen the night before and sleeping, but sensation-wise, my forehead feels like it has dental anesthesia, and my cheekbones feel like electric tingling..
After just getting the stitches removed at week 1, daily life felt much more comfortable
The swelling from the forehead lift and cheekbone surgery is going down with slight asymmetry, and day by day it feels more natural! I’m happy that the double-eyelid lines that had been covered are lifted up clearly
