Nose Surgery Reviews@rhino-review

Review of 3 rhinoplasty consultations

I went around for nose consultations for the first time! Since I live outside Seoul, going all the way there took some resolve, so I could only visit 3 placesㅠㅠ I still have 2 more left, but for now there was one place I liked My nasal tip is on the blunt side, and my basic preference was to make the tip thinner and raise the bridge a bit

1. ㅊㅇ - Director Park Yu-gil The clinic was clean and there was no waiting time. In fact, I was late, but they waited for meㅜㅜ The consultation manager was pretty, calm, and the consultation time was long too! When you first arrive, they take photos, then the consultation manager spends about 10 minutes talking with you about what areas are bothering you, and then the director comes in I think I consulted with the director for about 30 minutes! However, he said my current nose was better than the nose shape I wanted, so I ended up wondering whether to go ahead with surgery or not;ㅎㅎ He said if the nose shape or angle is already in a decent state, then with surgery, if you touch one area that isn't ideal, you end up having to adjust other areas too I got counseling for tip + bridge surgery For the tip, they planned to use septal cartilage and ear cartilage, and for the bridge, fascia behind the ear It was my first time hearing about fascia behind the ear, and he said it would be more natural and safer without using silicone He explained that since this was basically just a height-increasing procedure, the risk of side effects was low, and he explained very clearly why improving the tip also meant needing to address the bridge He answered all my questions well and was thorough Since I have a slightly protruding mouth, he said he could also correct the nasolabial angle if possible, and he seemed to understand my face well, which I liked The director seemed to prioritize safety + naturalness The consultation manager was also calm, answered everything I wanted to know, and did not pressure me to book The surgery price was on the expensive side compared with other clinics! It was within the price I expected, so that was fine They said a guardian could check the CCTV during surgery, and that they only do surgeries twice a day, which reassured me AS could be corrected within 6 months The price was 390, but it could go down to 360 Out of the 3 clinics, this is the one I like most!

2. ㅂ Plastic Surgery - Director Go Eun-seok First of all, the waiting time was way too long I waited at least 30 minutes just to see the consultation manager... and there were so many Chinese and other foreign patients! They did not take photos; I went straight into consultation with the manager, talked about what was bothering me, then went back out and waited for the director. I waited another 30 minutes to see him He answered my questions, but he wasn't the type to bring things up first, seemed tired, and kind of rushed through it He didn't show me how my nose would look after surgery, just roughly touched my nose, said the skin on my nose was on the thicker side, and said he would use septal cartilage + ear cartilage for the tip and silicone for the bridge I spent about 5 minutes with the director, then waited another 20 minutes for the consultation manager ^^ The consultation manager also didn't spend long on the consultation, and the waiting time was much longer; the total consultation time was maybe 15 minutes? The clinic was so chaotic that if I actually had surgery there, I feel like even if I visited later I might not realize I had had surgery there They do seem to pressure you a bit into booking on the same day, and at first it was just bridge + tip, but then correction for a bulbous nose and a long nose were added Other clinics had said those parts weren't necessary and had removed them, but here they were added anyway The initial price was very expensive, but with same-day booking + review event, more than 1 million won was discounted I didn't ask about AS, they didn't explain it, and I didn't ask about CCTV either... I think from the atmosphere of the clinic I already didn't feel like having surgery there The price was in the low 4 millions, but after various discounts it came to 2.85 million I don't think I'll go here

3. ㅋㄴㅍ Clinic - single-director clinic There was no waiting time, and even though I was very late, they waited for me They asked if I wanted a CT, and since I have rhinitis, I said I would get one; after waiting a bit, I saw the consultation manager The consultation manager was kind and good at responding and agreeing with me. I consulted about lifting the bridge and tip together, and the consultation manager didn't say much about the surgery, leaving everything to the director's decision I met with the consultation manager for about 5 minutes, then waited for the director and had the consultation The director looked extremely gentle ㅋㅋ Whatever I asked, he listened and answered well But unless I asked questions, he didn't give a lot of explanation He said he would use septal cartilage for the tip and, if needed, one side's ear cartilage, and silicone for the bridge Here, he explained that compared with other materials, silicone gives a smoother shape and does not get absorbed, which is good If I didn't want silicone, the bridge didn't have to be raised, but he said the shape would probably be less good On the CT, he said that if I have rhinitis but it isn't severe, functional surgery isn't necessary He did reflect my opinions as much as possible, but I got the sense that he had a definite shape in mind for surgery He also said I didn't have to write a review, and there was no same-day booking discount. He said AS was available for 2 years, not for shape-related issues but when a functional problem occurs I thought it was a well-known clinic, but the surgery cost was cheaper than I expected. After finishing with the director, I talked again with the consultation manager and that was it There was no pressure to book at all, and he said to contact them if I decided to go ahead. Out of the 3 clinics, this seemed like the one least lacking in consideration for patients ㅎㅎ But the before-and-after photos were a bit different from what I had imaginedㅠㅠ They seemed a little noticeable too! The price was exactly 3 million

I wrote this in as much detail as I could because I really wanted to help! My nose is already kind of a straight-line profile? So to get rid of the blunt nasal tip, the tip has to be raised, but if only the tip is raised, then from the original angle the tip alone ends up going up, so they said the bridge also has to be raised, whether I like it or notㅠㅠ They said the change would probably not be very dramatic... I was worried because the slightly blunt tip made my nose look old-fashioned, but it turned out they would have to touch more than I expected The surgical methods at the 3 clinics were similar, and only ㅊㅇ used different materials What bothered me a bit, though, was that all 3 said there would be almost no side effects and described it as a basic surgery in a slightly casual way That made me hesitate. The reason I was considering nose surgery in the first place was side effects, and one clinic said that even contracture is fine if inflammation is caught early Anyway, I still have 2 more places left, so I'll visit them and then decide! For now, the one at the top of my mind is ㅊㅇ
