My mom’s eyes were uneven, and she had sagging and wrinkles too, so even though she didn’t show it, she was subtly bothered by it.. These days a lot of people get filial cosmetic surgery for their parents, so I had her do it haha. Because she’s older, recovery took a long time Maybe because of the eye swelling, she said her eyes felt dry and stiff, so I bought her a lot of artificial tears, and she also said the incision areas at the outer corners of her eyes were itchy, and because of the swelling they looked slit-like, making her impression look distorted. At first, hearing only things like that made me wonder if I had unnecessarily started something, so I asked her how she was every single day. But as time passed, the swelling went down and things settled into place, so she no longer says her eyes feel dry and stiff, and the slit-eyed look seems gone now too! When she takes photos, she actually likes it, saying her impression looks softer lolololol
