Before <nose before surgery> After <nose after surgery> I couldn't select the hospital, so I set it to privateㅜㅜ This is a review of rhinoplasty with Director Guk Kyung-hoon at the clinic!!
I place a lot of importance on safety, so I searched a lot through apps and communities, made a list from online research and in-person visits, filtered out the hospitals to avoid, kept only the safe ones, and went around for consultations. The hospital I ended up liking right away and having surgery at was this one!
My nasal tip was usually blunt and round, like a bulbous nose, and I had a severe dorsal hump, so I wanted improvement. As soon as I went in for the consultation, unlike other hospitals, the director first explained the areas I wanted improved, the materials and methods that would be used during rhinoplasty, and so on, so it was nice that I could get various information without having to ask follow-up questions.
And after the CT scan, he pulled up the septal cartilage area on the computer himself, shaded it with a pencil, and explained it in detail. He also printed out a side-view photo of my nose and drew on it himself with a pencil to show what my nose would look like after surgery, and that part really appealed to me.
I was scared of implants, so I really wanted to do it without an implant. He didn't push anything excessively and said he would proceed without an implant. He also explained in advance the degree of overcorrection to prevent drooping. And because I worry a lot, I went for a second consultation, but he answered my questions well without showing even a hint of annoyance, so I was touched haha.
If you bring photos of noses you like and noses you dislike, he even puts them on the operating room wall and proceeds while trying hard to reflect them!!
Also, the director himself is very confident in surgery, so I came to trust him. Looking at the clinic's surgery review photos, I felt that he creates a not-overdone straight-to-slightly-curved line well, and I think that also played a big role in my choosing the hospital!
Lastly, for nose surgery at this clinic, Director Guk!! And for the consultation manager, I recommend Manager Kim Seo-hee~!! As I said above, I worry a lot, so from before surgery I think I sent KakaoTalk messages almost every day, several times a day, asking the manager many questions, and she answered as quickly, kindly, and professionally as possible haha. Far from the hospital staff's attitude changing after surgery was over! That didn't happen at all. I think they cared for me even more diligently❤️
In reality, the dorsal hump, long nose, and drooping nose that were my flaws have all improved, and my bulbous nose has also improved as much as possible, so I'm so happy!! The swelling hasn't all gone down yet, so I'm even more excited for two weeks later haha.
Today marks 2 weeks for me, so I came back after even getting all the stitches removed. Even the nurses are all kind, they try to provide post-op care without making it hurt, and they answer questions well haha. If you have a personality like mine where you can't hold back questions and chatter away, it'll be good!! Even if you're not like me, there's no reason for anyone to turn down a hospital that kindly gives detailed and accurate information haha.
People who want a pretty straight-to-slightly-curved nose line~ everyone gather at this clinic! I'm happily imagining every day how my nose will change more once the swelling goes down. Haha then I'll write up to here, bye~~
