Went alone. First of all, everyone was kind. It was my first consultation, and I was a bit surprised because the interior was pretty haha.
They said there wasn’t a designated doctor, so they connected me with Dr. Kang, who is said to be famous for eye surgery. Honestly, I have monolids, and it wasn’t that I desperately wanted double eyelids, but my eyelids kept drooping and it was stressful, so I was debating whether to do upper eyelid fat removal, ptosis correction, or make a small double eyelid line.
They didn’t ask exactly about that, and since everyone gets double eyelid surgery they probably assumed that was what I wanted, so they just suddenly drew the line first. The line was okay, but maybe because I just feel awkward about double eyelids in general, I didn’t think, “I definitely have to do it here,” and instead just thought, “So this is how it looks...”.
I also asked about the other options I was considering (upper eyelid fat removal, ptosis correction), and they said I was just a case that needed double eyelid surgery, and that the other procedures probably wouldn’t make any difference. I could tell they tried as much as possible not to recommend extra options, which I did like.
I was surprised that the price became quite a bit cheaper if you did the review event.
Anyway, it didn’t suit me that well, but I think it was a decent clinic! They said the aftercare period is 1 year.
