Eye Surgery Reviews

My first double-eyelid consultation tour review

I went around getting consultations..! I have another clinic to visit tomorrow, but I’ll write this first.. I’ve never had plastic surgery or any surgery before and knew nothing about double eyelids... So I stumbled over my words when talking with the doctors and made it very obvious to the coordinators that I knew nothing.. haha. That’s why I currently have a lot of deposits tied up. I thought I could get all the deposits back, but I only just learned that they don’t refund them easily.. lol, I’m doomed! I visited three clinics: one near Sinsa Station and two near Gangnam Station.

1. Plastic surgery clinic near Sinsa Station A friend told me it would be good to go somewhere with one doctor, so I booked this clinic. It was my first consultation! Pros - Since there is one doctor, it probably isn’t a factory-style clinic. - The doctor seemed to pursue a very safe, conservative crease. The reviews were very natural, and the doctor seemed to preserve each person’s eye characteristics so the surgery did not look obvious. - They said aftercare and swelling management after surgery are free for one year. (But I heard other places provide about this much too.. I didn’t know!) - The surgery cost was the lowest. - They did not particularly recommend unnecessary surgery. Cons - The doctor was unfriendly! He made six crease designs (three extra because he was trying to push the line he recommended) and then left. - He was too focused on playing it safe... It felt like he was trying only to prevent failure rather than reflect my opinion..? So it was difficult for me to add more of my own preferences.

2. Plastic surgery clinic near Gangnam Station (1) I went because it had many double-eyelid reviews, and many reviews showed eyes like the ones I wanted. There was a doctor I originally wanted to consult, but our schedules didn’t work at all, so I consulted another doctor! Pros - Both the doctor and coordinator were kind. I especially liked that the doctor explained things well. - They definitely reflected my opinion more than the first clinic. - They didn’t recommend other surgery here either. - They said revisions would be free for up to two years. - They said I wouldn’t need to visit to have the sutures removed after surgery. Cons - The price was the highest. Still, it wasn’t so unreasonable that I couldn’t accept it!

3. Plastic surgery clinic near Gangnam Station (2) This was different from the clinic above and also very famous with many reviews. By my standards, they seemed good at creating natural-looking creases! Pros - Honestly, I don’t know. Cons - The doctor seemed fine, but the coordinator was unfriendly.. After payment, she told me that refunds were difficult because the surgery was booked at an event price, and she put down other clinics.. Whatever I asked, she answered with the feeling of “You really don’t know much.. haha,” and insisted that they were the best, which made me suspicious. - There were so many people that even the reception desk seemed disorganized..?? I clearly told the desk that I had arrived, but they suddenly called to ask whether I had actually come.. It made me wonder whether this place was really well organized.. - Maybe because it is popular, surgery was unavailable on my preferred date..

That’s what I’ve written so far, but now I have no idea what to do about all the deposits..
