Review of Two Facial Contouring Procedures (Square Jaw + Cheekbones)

Review of two facial contouring procedures! I intentionally included some photos from before the tape was removed and some recent photos!

This time, I had two facial contouring procedures done at a clinic. During the consultation, they understood exactly what I was concerned about, and their safety system seemed well organized, so I felt reassured. First of all, before surgery, my facial features were not especially pretty to begin with, but among them, I felt my face shape, with developed cheekbones and a square jaw like a peanut shape, gave me a strong masculine image, so I decided to have surgery.

On the day of surgery, aside from being extremely hungry and having a very sore throat from the general anesthesia, it was not as hard as I expected..! Right before surgery, they checked several times about fasting and other things, and reassured me so I would not feel anxious, so I was not scared even when I got on the operating table. Thank you! After surgery, when I was wearing the facial compression band, I looked in the mirror and could see that the 45-degree cheekbone area was gone, so it felt like the surgery had gone well and it really hit me. However, for a few days after surgery, my face hurt so much, the sensation in my jaw felt strange, and the inside of my mouth was uncomfortable, so I was anxious about whether I was recovering properly. But they said it was a normal recovery process, so I felt less anxious..

At one week, I was very satisfied with the change in my face when viewed from the side or at an angle! It was the face shape I wanted, and it even felt like the shortcomings of my nose were softened..? Before surgery, the asymmetry was so severe and both my face and nose looked wide, so I think only the shortcomings of my facial features stood out. From the front, my cheeks were very swollen and looked a bit like a hamster, but I thought it would get better while receiving swelling-care treatments at the clinic, so I was not too worried. The right jawline felt so tight and lumpy that I could feel the bone strangely, and the sensation was slow to return, so I was worried, but they said this was also part of the recovery process.

Now, two weeks to one month later, my cheeks still feel full from the front, but they definitely seem better than two weeks ago, and I can both see and feel with my hands that the swelling along the jawline is gradually going down! Also, the cheekbone reduction effect surprises me every time I take selfies, and now, even though my facial line is still swollen, it looks smooth, so I think wearing my hair tied up suits me better than before surgery.
