I wanted to get double eyelid surgery at ㅂㄹㅂ in Daejeon, so I had a consultation and even made a reservation. The director is a woman, and since she is the sole director, I thought it seemed trustworthy. The consultation time with the director was short, but she took one look, marked the line, and said that if I was okay with a low line, I could do non-incisional buried sutures, but if I wanted the line higher, incision was the only option. She said the manager would explain the rest, so the manager explained the pricing and pre-surgery information. Buried suture was 880,000 won, incision was 1,210,000 won, and there were no separate things like canthoplasty, so that price was just for basic double eyelid surgery. I was worried I would regret it if the line was too low, so I even booked surgery with the incisional method, but after continuing to think about it, I canceled the surgery and needed to get a refund. I had deposited an additional amount beyond the original reservation deposit, and they said they would refund me based on a percentage of the amount I deposited. So I asked, since I had deposited extra on top of the original reservation deposit, why they were including even the additional amount in the refund calculation, and shouldn't that be handled separately? They said that because a record of the cash receipt cancellation amount remains, there was nothing they could do, and since they could not take other patients' consultations or surgery reservations, they would calculate and refund it including the additional amount. If the cash receipt is canceled anyway, taxes would not be deducted, so I did not understand and told them that, but they kept saying no because they could not take other patients. Since communication was not working, I told them to refund it that way. Even though I felt really upset, I figured the managers are employees and would just do what they were told, so I spoke calmly, but communication still did not work. I canceled because I wanted to schedule the surgery for a later period, and although I liked the pre-surgery consultation, seeing how they handled the cancellation, it seems they do not manage customers who cancel... Even if I get double eyelid surgery later, I do not think I will go there...
