Day 4 Review After Cheekbone and Square Jaw Surgery

On the day of surgery, I went in and had the surgery pretty smoothly When it was over, I opened my eyes in the recovery room I was so nauseous and just exhausted. I had drains in too, and time seriously would not pass. I had a cough and a nosebleed too. There wasn’t really any pain, and my throat was okay, but I was so nauseous and dizzy that I put something on, but I couldn’t focus at all. Even at dawn, I couldn’t sleep and kept falling asleep and waking up over and over. When they changed the drains and gave me painkillers, I vomited twice. After vomiting, stuff like bloody residue poured out from both my nose and mouth. Still, I felt a bit better after throwing up, so that was good. I vomited a few more times after that too. Then I was discharged in the morning Day 1~3 The swelling on one side got so severe that one eye completely closed and bruised I thought this really didn’t make sense, so I told the manager, and since the next day was their day off, she told me to come in just in case, so I went at 12 a.m. and just got a painkiller injection. Nothing much happened after that, so I was discharged and loosened the facial compression band a bit After that, the bruising around one eye eased a little, but there was a blood bruise on the folded white of the eye But my cheeks were so swollen that my gums were blocking my teeth, so I couldn’t chew anything, so I only drank soy milk and took medicine I had no strength in my body at all and just sat there thinking this is awful Still, I felt like I needed to go for walks once the swelling started going down, and my stomach felt so bad too, so I forced myself to eat porridge by just swallowing it. I also ordered ice cream, and today I’ll probably shower, get my hair washed at a hair salon, and go for a walk
