I had revision surgery because of a saddle nose. For consultations, I went to 3 hospitals specializing in revision rhinoplasty, and had surgery at the one that understood my issues the best. It was a hospital I had also consulted at when I had my first surgery, and I wish I had done it here from the start ㅠㅠ Because it was revision surgery and my nose was an unusual case, the cost was somewhat on the higher side, but the director explained realistic solutions and the expected postoperative results in detail, so I felt I could trust them. And after seeing before-and-after photos of saddle nose cases similar to mine, I was able to decide on the surgery with confidence. For the surgery, they reconstructed the nasal septum and used donated costal cartilage, filling in the deeply sunken area. They also restored the alar cartilage that had gone wrong while operating on the nasal tip ㅠㅠ It really involved restoration, reconstruction, and revision surgery overall, with parts that had to be newly rebuilt, so the director also said it would not be an easy surgery, but I think it turned out much better than I expected... Honestly, I think I would have been satisfied if it had just become better than it was now, but they made the nose shape I had wanted when I first decided to get surgery. They didn't just operate for treatment purposes; they also made it look good cosmetically, so I'm happy... There is still some swelling after surgery, but it already feels like a success, so I'm posting this before-and-after review.
