Nose Surgery Reviews@rhino-review

I had my splint removed today for my bulbous nose.!

Before <front view before surgery> After <front view after surgery> Before <side view before surgery> After <side view after surgery> From the day of surgery, I was making such a fuss and asking everyone here so many questions... They say time really is the best medicine, and it’s already day 7, so I had my splint removed and got tape put on my columella to prevent the wound from opening!

But maybe because I also had the hump removed and osteotomy done... the bruising and swelling around my nose and the surrounding area are still no joke... hahahaㅠ It seriously feels numb and sore, like someone hit me hard with a fistㅜㅜㅜ Fortunately, I don’t have any blackheads, and my skin hasn’t broken out either!!

Everyone says correcting a bulbous nose is difficult, so I was really worried too, especially from the front!! But they corrected it naturally into the shape I wanted, so I’m really satisfied!! Thinking about how it’ll get a little slimmer as the swelling goes down already makes me happy hehe

I have a somewhat high glabella and nasal bridge, and when the splint was on, it felt like there was no change in my nasal tip height, so I was really depressedㅠㅠ Seriously, every day is such a roller coaster... mental management is essential hahahaㅠㅠ But once the splint actually came off, I was so moved to see it extending so nicely and straightㅎ I think I’d be okay if the height stays like this, or even if it drops a little more haha During the consultation, I said I wanted a straight-to-slightly-curved line, and the director said there might be some limitations because of the height of my nasal bridgeㅜ but it seems like they raised it a little? hehe For reference, I used no implant, septal cartilage, ear cartilage, and donated rib cartilage!

Until getting the splint removed, I kept coming into this community all the time and it eased a lot of my worries, so I hope my post helps someone else here even a little!
