Everyone, look at my eyes—aren’t they really severe..? It was not even both sides; only one side became a mess. Who would have known it would turn out like this after lateral canthoplasty? Maybe because the red skin inside the eye was fully exposed, my eyes stung terribly. Even the ophthalmologist said it was serious, so I visited several hospitals while looking for one known for restoration together with my daughter. When I went for a consultation at the hospital where I had surgery, they examined me very carefully. About a month after surgery, most of the swelling had gone down, and once the outer corner and the inverted area settled into place, the functional problems also seemed to stabilize considerably. As we get older, we may undergo eye revision surgery several times, and because of eyelid laxity we consider various procedures. As everyone knows, when cosmetic surgery becomes excessive, we seem to keep looking for restoration and revision surgery. I am writing this because I hope everyone will not become too ambitious about surgery.
