I had a rhinoplasty consultation during summer vacation. The staff were not particularly kind compared with staff at other plastic-surgery clinics. The wait was also long, and I had to wait well beyond my appointment time, which was uncomfortable. As another clinic appointment was approaching, I called the staff because I felt the consultation needed to start quickly, but they only told me to wait, and the doctor did not come in on time.
The doctor was quite kind, but the consultation did not match my wish to simply raise the tip of my nose. My nose has a pointed, downturned shape with a nasal bridge, and they recommended autologous costal cartilage, septal rib cartilage, ear cartilage, and 1 mm silicone. I wanted a simple implant-free procedure, but they seemed to be adding too many materials, so this clinic made me reconsider rhinoplasty once again.
