Since my school days, my jaw and face shape had caused me subtle stress. In photos, my jaw was the first thing I noticed, and my side profile bothered me even more… But surgery felt burdensome if it was only for cosmetic reasons, so I kept postponing it. After a consultation, I had double-jaw surgery and three-part facial contouring together at [Clinic A]. The most important thing to me was not losing either the functional or cosmetic aspect, and the thorough consultation helped me decide. After surgery, I even felt the years I spent worrying had been a waste haha. My facial shape is clearly more refined, and my side profile is much cleaner than before. Most importantly, the functional issues I worried about also improved, so I am even more satisfied. I used to search for the right jaw angle whenever taking photos, but now I just take them straight on haha. Looking at photos from school, I wonder why I worried about this for so long. As a man, I was worried that contouring or double-jaw surgery might look too obvious or change me excessively, but overall my facial balance feels better, so I am personally satisfied. Since I had worried about this surgery for so long, seeing the result makes me wish I had at least gone for a consultation sooner haha.
