I went for a nose consultation, and after looking at my nose, they said they would use ear cartilage for the tip. So I asked whether they could use my septal cartilage instead, and they said I have a lot of septal cartilage, so if they removed and used it, there would still be a lot left, so it would be a waste. I wondered how they could know that without even taking a CT scan.
