This is a review of choosing a clinic for buried double-eyelid surgery + forehead lift.
I had double-eyelid surgery 15-16 years ago and epicanthoplasty 13-14 years ago.. Maybe because I asked them to make it look too natural?! at the time.. As time went by, I became unhappy that it looked too thin, almost like inner double eyelids. I looked mainly at real reviews and went for consultations at a few places.. Honestly, the coordinators all gave almost the same consultation. But at the place where I had surgery, I felt like there really was a reason it was famous for eye surgery. The director came in, examined me, and recommended double-eyelid surgery + forehead lift. Even though I don’t have ptosis, I had already heard at every consultation that I lift my eyes using my forehead muscles, and they said that’s because I consciously feel the distance between my eyes and eyebrows is narrow. So they said it probably feels different when I look in the mirror versus when I see myself in photos. Wow.. I was shocked.. They instantly caught a condition I didn’t even know I had! lol They explained the surgical method and effects, and kept asking if I had any other questions.. I’d seen this in many reviews too, but as expected, they really were good~ I trusted them. So I booked surgery right away.. Today is day 4 after surgery.. I like the double-eyelid line, and it definitely feels more open and refreshed. But the swelling is still at its peak.. I hope it goes down quickly haha Once the swelling goes down, I’ll upload photos and another review~
