Review after going around for eye surgery consultations at ㄹㅎ and ㄴㄴ

I have monolids and ptosis (I didn’t know I had it, but after going around to clinics for consultations, they all said I did), and I also have an epicanthal fold in the front, so I was recommended incision + ptosis correction + medial or upper epicanthoplasty and had consultations!

First Clinic: ㄹㅎ Plastic Surgery Doctor: Director ㅂㅈㄱ (not specifically requested) Consultation fee: none First of all, the consultation manager was very kind! It was the first place I went to, so I was really clueless and there was a lot I didn’t know, but she told me a lot of things and explained everything in detail. Besides that, the people who took the photos and all the other staff were kind too, but there was a long wait because the director’s surgery was delayed! It seemed like the director came to the consultation right after finishing surgery, so he looked very tired and worn out, and I got the feeling that he was doing the consultation somewhat half-heartedly and roughly... Of course, that’s just my personal judgment. Also, I take a separate medication, and my attending physician said anesthesia would be OK if the plastic surgery director said it was fine, so when I told him that, at first he said it seemed like it would be okay, but afterward he said he wasn’t sure. Of course, since it’s a different field, he might not know well, but that part made me trust him a bit less. Other than that, the manager and the others were good! There was no pressure to book right away either.

Second Clinic: ㄴㄴ Plastic Surgery Doctor: Director ㅊㅎㅈ (not specifically requested) Consultation fee: none I was surprised that it was such a huge hospital. I didn’t know it would be this big. I arrived about 30 minutes earlier than my consultation time, so there was some waiting, but that was fine because I arrived early. All the staff were kind, and the consultation manager was kind too. Maybe it’s because I haven’t gone around to many places and don’t know much, but the manager also helped mark out a line, so I was a bit surprised. Anyway, the director was kind too. Actually, at all the other clinics, I talked with the managers for a long time and with the directors only briefly, but here I talked with the director the longest. I asked everything I didn’t know and was curious about, and he answered everything thoroughly. And as I wrote above, I take a separate medication, so I told them about that too. Maybe because this place is a large hospital unlike the others, they said an anesthesiologist is always on-site. So they said they would ask the anesthesiologist whether my medication would be okay. I liked that the most. Since I already take medication, I can’t help but be concerned about it ㅠ Other than that, both the director’s and manager’s consultations were kind and thorough. But the manager’s tone had a slight “I’d like you to make a reservation right now” feeling, not exactly pressure but kind of pressure, and that part was a bit iffy.
