Before before after after after It’s already been two months since I had nose surgery, and I wanted to ask several people’s opinions on whether it turned out well, so I’m posting this! First of all, before surgery my bulbous nose was pretty severe, and every time I took photos it looked spread out, so I was really stressed.
I only kept searching about nose surgery, then decided to have surgery and hurriedly started going around for consultations! I think I made a lot of consultation appointments, but I decided to have surgery at the second clinic I visited! Unlike the first consultation, where they said, “If we do it like this, it’ll look pretty,” and “about 4 mm should be good,” here they told me that if 4 mm were placed in my nose, it could collapse..! They said my nasal bridge is quite low, so if it were raised too high, it could look like a man’s nose. They first told me the directions that could realistically be improved, so I decided to have surgery here.!
The surgery really didn’t hurt as much as I expected. (You can just go to sleep and wake up!) As those who’ve had it know, except for the stuffiness from the cotton inside the nose for about a day or two, it was probably okay,,! I think getting the stitches removed was what I was most afraid of haha.. I’m the type who makes a big fuss about pain, and even getting injections hurts for me, but removing the stitches didn’t hurt as much as I thought. A sting? About that much? I think the doctor who removed them for me did it really well, and I liked that it really didn’t hurt..!
At one month, the major swelling had settled to some extent, but the nasal tip was still very swollen. I could clearly see that the bridge had become higher, but from the front it just looked like my nose had gotten smaller? Because of the swelling, it still had a bulbous-nose feel..! They say nasal swelling has to be watched over a long time, so I ended up living with anticipation hahaㅠㅠ.
Now that it’s been two months, the major swelling seems to have gone down a lot, and it’s gradually becoming more natural! Some people think I just lost weight and naturally became prettier, and I’ve heard a lot that my facial features have become more defined. There’s still the downside that I can’t blow my nose yet, but the line has definitely been refined, and the nasal tip is gradually coming down too. My biggest concern was, “Will the nasal-tip swelling really go down?” But looking at it now, I can definitely feel that it is going down. When I read nose surgery reviews, there were so many posts saying time is the medicine, and that is true haha.
Now I don’t have to worry about my nose when taking photos, and I don’t have to be stressed, so I’m really happy. The feeling that they recommend the surgery that fits you exactly and identify what the problem is and what is needed is probably what you most want to feel while going around for consultations, and if you come here, you really can feel it! Before surgery I was so scared, but now I wonder why I didn’t do it sooner,,, If you’re going to do it anyway, I think it’s better to do it even a little sooner and get the swelling down! Getting the swelling down is the biggest task haha!
