I have always been on the fuller side in the face, so even a little swelling or weight gain made my face look round right away, which was stressful. In particular, the line from my cheeks to my jaw felt blurry overall, and when I took photos, my face seemed bigger than it really was. So I got a consultation at Dress, and they did not just focus on reducing cheek fat but looked at my whole facial line. They explained that because I had both volume and sagging causing the face to look round, it would be better to combine contour injections and Ulthera. I also wanted a naturally refined face line rather than making my face too gaunt, so I went ahead and had the treatment. It was my first time getting injections in my face, so I was a little nervous, but it was more tolerable than I expected, and Ulthera was fine too, though there was a stinging sensation in some areas. Right after the procedure I could not really tell much difference because of the swelling. After 1 to 2 weeks, I started noticing that my cheeks looked more refined and my jawline looked cleaner than before. Before, my facial line felt generally round and my jawline was a bit hidden, but now the line from my cheeks to my jaw feels more organized. In particular, from the front my face looks less puffy, and the side profile looks cleaner too, so I am satisfied. The best part is that it was refined naturally without making me look too thin.
