My eyes weren't completely tiny, but the outer corners were a bit raised, so I felt my expression looked sharp. I hated that so much that I wanted to get canthoplasty. The eyes I wanted were soft, puppy-like eyes, so before surgery I clearly told the surgeon the exact vibe I liked. Even on the day of surgery, I checked the design once more and then had the canthoplasty. After the surgery, there was a slight foreign-body feeling, and I had quite a bit of bruising and swelling!! Oh, and after the canthoplasty it seemed like my under-eye puffiness had faded a little, so I asked the coordinator right away, and they said it could just look that way because of the swelling at the outer corners of the eyes and told me to come back after the stitches were removed. Then 2 to 3 days after the stitches were removed, the under-eye puffiness came back. I worried for nothing. Anyway, if you're like me, wait a little and give it time!!! Honestly, after my canthoplasty, everyone said my eyes had become really naturally pretty and kept asking where I got it done. My cousin even got a consultation with Director Hwang Hoyeon at Hyundai Beauty, where I had my surgery, and eventually booked surgery too, haha. Even though the before-and-after difference is big, it looks so natural and I really love my eyes. I think this canthoplasty was a complete success.
