I wish I had gotten SMILE LASIK sooner.

First of all, I got SMILE LASIK through an acquaintance, and I received SMILE LASIK + corneal strengthening from Director Shin Dong-hoon. At first, because of concerns about the side effects of LASIK and LASEK, I had lived with poor vision for over 15 years, but these days there are many frightening crimes, and I thought it would be better to get LASIK while I was even a year younger, so I decided to get SMILE LASIK. In my case, my corneas are a little on the thin side, so I was told corneal strengthening was essential, but for people with thick corneas, I think you may not necessarily need corneal strengthening. (My acquaintance didn’t get it either!) Also, if you go through a Modoodoc event or an acquaintance discount, you can go for a lower price, so if you’re planning to go, make sure to get the benefits~! First, I trusted them a lot because I heard they were the first hospital to introduce SMILE LASIK, and I thought there must be a reason why so many people go there, so I decided to have it done at this hospital. The director explained things well and clearly told me the precautions for surgery, so I was able to receive the surgery comfortably. I think the surgery took less than 10 minutes. First of all, if you have surgery, you absolutely cannot drive that day, so please go with a guardian or use public transportation. The parking is mechanical, so it is a bit inconvenient, and if possible I think a paid above-ground parking lot may be better. For those getting SMILE LASIK, it’s best to bring sunglasses + a hat when you go. After surgery, make sure to use your eye drops properly, and don’t go wandering around right away; go home, close your eyes, and sleep. For about 5 hours, your eyes keep tearing and stinging. Keeping your eyes closed hurts the least. After I slept for a while and woke up, my eyes felt much more comfortable. If you can just endure that, it is truly a whole new world. It has now been a little over 2 weeks since surgery, and there is still a little glare and blurriness, but it doesn’t seriously interfere with daily life. They didn’t specifically tell me to buy protective glasses, but people around me said it would be good to have them, so I’m thinking of going to buy protective glasses this week.
