Brief Review After Consultations for My First Nose Surgery

I had booked consultations at ㅊㅇㅊㄹ and ㄷㄹ, but surgery at ㅊㅇㅊㄹ was running late, so I just canceled it and only went to ㄷㄹ. (I wanted surgery that would naturally raise my nose without an implant and make the line prettier.)

Overall, my nose is crooked, and I wanted to use only septal cartilage or ear cartilage, without costal cartilage or silicone. But they said my septal cartilage is small and weak, so septal cartilage and ear cartilage alone would not achieve the height I wanted, and they recommended using costal cartilage together with ear cartilage. They said silicone was not particularly necessary, and if used, it could make the nasal bridge look artificial if it went wrong, so they did not recommend it. There was no mention of osteotomy or shaving down a slight hump. For nostril/alar base reduction, they said raising the nose would naturally pull in the spread-out nose, so it was not really necessary, and if I absolutely needed it, I should do it additionally later after nose surgery. They said that if a lot of scarring remained after costal cartilage harvest, they would support scar revision surgery. (Not laser.) Since the doctor specializes in nose surgery, he explained things systematically, but he looked very tired during the consultation. The overall atmosphere of the clinic felt quiet and comfortable, the consultant was fairly kind, and there was no pressure to pay a deposit. But I am worried because using costal cartilage, which I had not expected, feels burdensome, and the price is higher than I thought.
