Nose Re-Surgery

Debating whether to remove only the nasal tip without dermis

I previously had surgery using no implant and ear cartilage for the nasal tip. Because the ear cartilage at the tip is showing through, I want to have the tip removed. The original hospital can remove the nasal-tip ear cartilage, but says it may look spread out and, since my skin is thin, recommends reinforcing it with donor dermis. I do not really want to put in something that is not mine, so... Has anyone had only the tip cartilage removed without dermis? They do not want to use autologous dermis from the buttocks for me. They said the dermis behind the ear is also insufficient in amount. Since they are doing it as aftercare for only the material cost, maybe they do not want to do it because using buttock dermis would make the surgery more extensive, but they did not even mention it. They say removing only the cartilage is possible, but I am debating it T_T. There is so much talk about both autologous and donor dermis that I wonder if it would be better not to use dermis at all T_T. Also, can the nose become upturned even if only the nasal-tip cartilage is removed?
