Facial Surgery Reviews@face-review

Contouring consults at 3 places + 2 planned (unlimited nitpicking welcome)

Before talking about my facial contouring consults, I’ll explain my situation first. Office worker in my mid-30s / I think I’ve worried about my face shape for over 20 years / I’ll have both the time off and money between January and March next year, so I decided to work up the courage. I went around for consultations. If I miss that timing, I probably won’t be able to do it later.. + Honestly, 10 years ago, articles about deaths from facial contouring seemed to come out every other day, so I was scared. There are probably many people here who worry about ordinary cheekbones/jaw issues too.. but my face is really, really wide, like a whole bundle-sized face. They said my bones are bigger than a man’s.

ㄴㅌ -> considering a consultation Basically, the doctor is also famous on YouTube. Since I’m an office worker, I tried to consult in advance, but they said it would be fine to schedule the consultation 2-3 months right before surgery, so I said okay. I saw reviews saying they tailor it to look natural + sophisticated, so I thought about going for a consultation.

ㅁㅇㄷㅇ -> considering a consultation First of all, it’s extremely hard to get an appointment. Even so, the reviews were excellent, so I wanted to at least go for a consultation. They said the doctor has a strong ego, so I’m hesitating. Of course, confidence is good, but when I had double eyelid surgery, I ended up with someone with a big ego ^^;; and I remember the disaster that happened, so I’m debating whether I should book another consultation. But the reviews are on another level.

ㅌㅇㅅ recommended 2 types or 3 types Looking only at the hospital or the doctor, this was the place I most strongly wanted to choose. As I said above, even though people with very strong egos make me go, uh..... and back away, I still felt trust here. As soon as I sat down, the doctor also caught my asymmetry and said that if I have surgery, they would start by correcting that. No over-treatment. I originally went in only thinking of 2 types (square jaw / cheekbones), and they said 3 types would be good, but if I feel it’s not really necessary, I don’t have to do it. But there is no hospitalization and they told me to go home the same day, so I put down a reservation, thought about it, then canceled. Of course I had a CT scan, and there was a consultation fee of 50,000 won? Seems like that’s newly added these days.

ㅅㅅㅇ recommended 3 types The hospital atmosphere itself was calm / the consultation staff and doctor were also calm. They said CCTV viewing is possible and that I could be hospitalized for 1 day, so I liked that. They said I didn’t have to put down a consultation deposit, but I insisted and did it anyway. A total of 2 surgeries a day, morning/afternoon. But the hospital is relatively small, so I wondered if it would be okay.. of course the doctor has a long career though! For now, if nothing unusual happens, I think I’ll do it here. But my surgery date is still far, far away, so I’m planning to look more. Of course I had a CT scan. When I went “hmm?...” about doing 3 types, they took a photo of my face with an iPad and drew on it for me too. Of course, after the CT scan, they also looked at the bone images and explained the surgical method, etc. No consultation fee.

ㄷㅇㅇ recommended 3 types There were a lot of people / there was a bit of waiting time. CCTV viewing is possible, but they said they film with a GoPro, so I was like, huh? While waiting, I got bored and wanted to work a bit on my laptop, so I asked for the Wi-Fi password, and they said no ㅠㅠ ... If it’s a phone, they said they would enter the password themselves. Post-op care seemed good. Also, they do a lot of surgeries, and it felt like they pursue the idol-style face shape people prefer these days. I have a friend around me who got her nose done here, and there was an acquaintance discount, so the price had merit. There were lots of reviews, and the post-op faces looked glamorous, so I was tempted for a moment. There was no consultation fee. The doctor themself is famous. They also did a CT scan.

Briefly, that’s about it, and because my face is really so, so wide, I can’t take off my glasses lololol... I decided after deep thought. At the hospitals I actually visited, they said even just from the consultation that my nerve line is also high, so they may be able to cut everything as far as the cutting range allows.. They said because my skin is thin and I have relatively little facial fat, the effect should be decent. Still, if they cut everything as much as possible, then lol... how would my muscles and flesh stay attached and hold up? It’s such a major surgery, so I need to be careful. I’m worried because I’m aiming for safety + sophistication + naturalness.

I need advice from everyone who has already had facial contouring surgery or wants to get it.
