I worried a lot and was scared until my LASEK/LASIK surgery, but I decided to go with LASEK since it shaves the cornea a little less. The surgery itself didn’t hurt except for putting in and taking out the thing that fixes the eye in place, but for 1-2 days after surgery, my eyes stung so badly and hurt so much that I couldn’t open them at all. It was like feeling period cramps twice as severe, but in my eyes..? Recovery was fast, so from day 3 it didn’t hurt, but the stinging and dryness were severe, and my vision improved slowly!! Now that 1 year has passed, I don’t really have dry eyes or glare, and I’m satisfied. Since my vision improved slowly, I felt a bit anxious and worried during that process, but even if I went back to the past, I would definitely get LASEK again. Good ~~
