Eye Surgery Considerations

A review of Iho

I had a consultation for double-eyelid revision surgery, and the director seemed to have very firm standards. Their preferred aesthetic was clear, and they spoke decisively about what was possible and what would be difficult. When I said I wanted a glamorous semi-out line, they immediately said that was being greedy, lol T_T. They explained that I needed to let go of wanting my eyes to be both glamorous and natural, and I understood it as meaning that if I wanted a glamorous result, I would have to accept that they might look thick, like sausages.

They said they couldn’t make the line higher, but could give me the feeling I wanted. I said I wanted my eyes to look more open, and they explained that they could create that impression in a different way from raising the line. Rather than promising that everything would turn out exactly as I wanted, their style seemed to be clearly presenting the direction they believed in.

The consultant was genuinely great. She was naturally pretty, which made an impression, and I liked that I could feel her professionalism during the consultation. Personally, the impression was different from the other clinics I had consulted, and I was especially satisfied with the consultant’s explanation.

However, I don’t think I’ll have surgery here. I still strongly want glamorous eyes, so there was a difference between my preference and the direction the director suggested. During the consultations, I clearly felt that each clinic pursues a different style, and I thought it would be important to see whether that matched the direction I wanted.
