Nose Surgery Reviews

One-month review after male rhinoplasty

I am writing this after waiting about a month following a long period of deliberation about rhinoplasty. I had carefully read reviews because I wanted to know how people actually spent the days after surgery and what level the pain was, rather than just seeing before-and-after photos shown by clinics. Since I am a man, I chose [Clinic A] based on whether it addressed differences from female rhinoplasty. The consultation with Dr. Gong was where I noticed the greatest distinction, and I liked how clearly he answered the criteria I had chosen. I was looking forward to seeing how he would change my current nose, which has a dorsal hump and a downward-pointing tip. I organized the clinic's instructions separately and researched and prepared supplies in advance. First, the pain was exactly bearable. It felt uncomfortable, but nothing was unbearable. However, having a dry mouth and difficulty sleeping were hard. The swelling was severe until day 5, then after the first week the major swelling began to subside. Around the second week, it became easier to go outside. It has now been about four weeks, and as time passes, the connection between the tip and bridge is becoming more natural, which I really like.
