I wrote a review here too lol I was doing fine for about 9 months, but the dermis at one side of my nasal tip got absorbed, so I could slightly feel the cartilage. Honestly, I was terrified it might poke through... For almost nine months I didn't even wear makeup and cared for it like a baby's bottom, and then this happened!!!! I ran straight to the hospital. As soon as the director saw me, he touched the tip of my nose and said it seemed like the dermis had been absorbed, but since there was a little bruising, we should look again after the swelling went down a bit. He told me not to touch my nose for 2-3 weeks and come back. So I was like, what is this, what is this, I was anxious, but I just held in my boiling frustration at home and really didn't even touch it with my hands for 2-3 weeks... It was days of endurance.. After that I went to the hospital, and the director looked at it and said one side seemed to have been absorbed quite a bit, so he would correct the nasal tip... He said he had to take one piece of cartilage and kept feeling my ear. Honestly, since it hadn't even been a year yet, I had no sense of whether the cost would be covered as AS or whether I would have to pay some amount, so I asked the director directly. This will be AS, right? Do I have to pay anything? Then the director calmly said, Of course I should do it as AS, it was my fault. This time I'll pay more attention to the side where the dermis is being absorbed. So I thought, okay, let's trust him, and scheduled the AS surgery...
But then the doctor looked at my nose and asked me, Do you want it to be a bit higher? I was thinking, what is this, is he trying to sell me something and charge extra? It had been 9 months since surgery and a lot of the swelling had gone down, but maybe something looked lacking to the director's eyes...
Anyway, I got AS. They scheduled me well for an early date in mid-July. Since it was only correcting the nasal tip again, I thought it wouldn't be a big deal... but after surgery... it hurt more than the previous surgery! It was one of the surgeries I've regretted the most ever because it hurt so much... There aren't many AS reviews in this community, so I'm leaving one. When I went to complain about this, I thought I would see all kinds of nonsense and end up fighting... but the director accepted it calmly... He answered my questions well too... Honestly, I was a bit surprised.. After AS, the only money I spent was on medication, and disinfection, stitch removal, and everything else proceeded just like with nose surgery.
It's been about a month and a half now, but because of my age, the columella scar is still very red. My skin type isn't that great either, so I'm accepting it. Thanks for reading this long post, and my nose style changed a bit too.... To me it looks about the same, but others say it changed, so please take a look. The reason I endured all this suffering in this heat is... I'm satisfied because it's a hospital that clearly handles AS. But although it's only been a month and a half, I'm still scared the nasal tip might protrude again later. They said they would operate again if that happened, but said it wouldn't happen... You never know the future, so I need to take good care of it for now... but I don't want to have more nose surgery... Everyone, wherever you go, I hope you find a hospital that takes responsibility and handles AS well if any problem occurs. I intentionally didn't upload makeup photos because seeing bare face is more accurate. Even now, except for sunscreen, I barely wear makeup ㅠ I'm taking care of my nose...
