It has been about six or seven years since removal. I think they removed the implant and rebuilt only the tip with cartilage. I wanted everything removed, but they advised against it. I wondered and worried whether I should have removed everything because my columella seemed to have descended a little. Even now I sometimes wonder what I would have looked like if I had removed it all, but I am satisfied because I am living comfortably without any problems. I do not think I particularly want to reopen it now.
