I had double-eyelid surgery several years ago, but as time passed, my eyelid-opening strength weakened and the crease kept looking like it might disappear, so I wondered whether I needed another surgery. While looking into revision eye surgery, I booked a consultation at [Clinic A]. During the consultation, they examined my eyes one by one and explained that it would be better to combine ptosis correction with removal of the second crease rather than simply recreating the crease, so I was able to understand the surgical plan. Right after surgery, they looked a little awkward because of swelling, but over time the upper eyelid area settled naturally and the crease is becoming calmer too. My eyelids look less sunken, and my eyes look clearer than before, so I’m satisfied. There is still some residual swelling, so I have to wait for it to subside a little more, but I’m very glad I had the surgery now before it got any later.
