I had a bulbous nose and a blunt nasal tip, so whenever I took photos, my nose stood out first and it stressed me out T_T I preferred a natural straight-natural nose over something too dramatic, so I searched through lots of reviews before having surgery.
At my first consultation, I showed photos of what I wanted, and we looked at my facial proportions together. I liked that they discussed shaping it so it would not look out of place on my face, rather than simply making it higher lol.
At first, there was swelling, so I wondered whether the line was really what I had imagined, haha. But after some time, my blunt tip became much more refined, and the side profile turned out just the way I wanted.
I never used to take side photos... but these days I actually turn sideways when taking pictures lol. I also feel less stressed about my nose in photos, which is a subtle but really nice change haha.
Even when I look in the mirror, my overall appearance feels more polished than before, so I am satisfied. People around me initially could not tell what had changed, but when I showed them old photos, they were surprised by my nose lol.
I used to worry a lot about angles, but that has decreased considerably now. I had looked at so many reviews of straight-natural noses for bulbous noses, and I think choosing a line that suited my face was the right decision haha.
