I had been stressed about my low nose for a long time, so I underwent male rhinoplasty. I wanted a non-implant procedure because I was worried about complications from implants, and after consultation, I decided to use donated rib cartilage to provide firm support for the tip and create a well-defined contour. There was some swelling at first, but as time passed, the line settled into a clean, straight slope. Strengthening the columellar support with donated rib cartilage has kept the shape very satisfactory without the tip drooping. I hope this helps anyone considering rhinoplasty.
