Nose Surgery Reviews

Sharing my experiences at 4 consultations (revision rhinoplasty)

1. Topclass: The coordinator seemed somewhat older and appeared to have worked with the surgeon for a long time. They took a CT scan, and the surgeon understood facial asymmetry well. They explained why my columella was retracted and said it needed to be brought out. We discussed correcting my bulbous nose. There was no consultation fee, and they discouraged autologous costal cartilage, explaining donated rib cartilage instead. The surgeon's consultation was professional. When I explained my needs, they described what was and was not possible and showed photos of similar cases. Consultation order: coordinator–surgeon–coordinator, a little over an hour. No pressure to undergo sedation. Price: 5.3 million won. 2. Catch: They took a CT scan but did not explain the facial asymmetry. They said the columella needed to be brought out and discussed bulbous-nose correction. When I explained my needs, they said everything was possible. They were good at drawing over my photos. I could not see photos of similar cases. The consultation was coordinator–surgeon–coordinator, and I spent the longest time with the surgeon. Autologous costal cartilage recommended. No pressure to undergo sedation. No consultation fee. Price: 5.5 million won. 3. Made Young: The short-haired coordinator showed obvious displeasure when I did not pay the reservation deposit that day. They kept dragging things out and would not let me leave, trying to get me to do something. Of the three, the surgeon was the most professional and gave the best consultation (they explained things exceptionally clearly). They pointed out all the problems with my facial asymmetry and nose. Autologous costal cartilage recommended. General anesthesia. The coordinator pressured me. Consultation fee: 10,000 won. Price: over 10 million won. 4. Miho: I booked a week in advance, but they called the day before and asked me to come at another time because the surgeon had a surgery scheduled. I understood, thinking it was because the surgeon was good. Then they called 30 minutes before my appointment on the day and again asked me to come at another time because there was a surgery. Haha. I decided it probably was not meant to be and skipped the consultation. I was satisfied with the surgeons' expertise and consultations at all three places, and apart from Made Young, the coordinators were fine too. All three took CT scans.
