I had surgery 12 years ago. I was young and not interested in my appearance, so I just followed my mom there. The only thing I'm grateful to the doctor for is using a partial incision... (I'm really, really grateful that they recommended a partial incision because revision surgery is possible later.) During the consultation, they said my eyes were too small and looked like buttonholes;; My mom, who came with me, also said I should do it. Now that 10 years have passed, I suppose it's understandable, but both double eyelids have completely loosened. They told me not to have lateral canthoplasty because my skin was too elastic, and I think they were right. My medial canthoplasty also closed back up. They suggested doing my nose instead, but said I didn't need it because my nose wasn't low. The doctor isn't without aesthetic sense. However, a middle-school classmate had her nose done here in the same year I had my double-eyelid surgery... I wouldn't recommend having a nose job here.
