Before<before revision surgery>After<after revision surgery>I wanted to see the difference before and after revision surgery, so I took photos wearing the same tank top As you can tell from the before photo, the contracture was pretty severe You could even see the blood vessels clearly, that’s how bad it was;;
My first surgery was in early 2014 with Allergan.. I don’t remember the size For the revision, I had Motiva Demi 320cc at MD through an inframammary incision
I’m already married and I’m just an ordinary middle-aged woman who has given birth twice To put it bluntly, if I had still been in my young single days when I was busy taking care of my body, maybe I would have noticed it sooner and had surgery earlier.. Because I was taking care of my husband, taking care of the kids, and taking care of the household too, I always put myself last
Honestly, I usually lived forgetting about it too Even when I thought, is there a problem? I avoided it But problems aren’t something you can just endure away;;..
The contracture symptoms I felt were roughly like this It started with minor pain.. My breasts, which used to hurt only during my period, started having sharp pains even normally As more time passed, my breast felt tingling and my nipple became sensitive.. If my child accidentally hit my chest, it hurt enough to make tears well up.. I don’t think I’ve ever felt as heartbroken as when I got angry at my child without meaning to.. One side of my breast became especially larger, and the feel definitely became lumpy to the touch and hardened.. I wrote this in case there are people here wondering, could this be me too?
Anyway, deciding on surgery was not easy for me because of the children.. But thanks to my mom helping me, I was able to have surgery and also be hospitalized As the director said, because it was a revision surgery, the pain wasn’t severe, and since I stayed in the hospital, rested well for a day, and focused on recovery, on the day of discharge I went home by myself without much difficulty
I also saw photos of the capsule that was removed.. Maybe because I had kept it inside for such a long time, it was thick and gross;; Since that had been attached to my breast, I understood why it felt so hard and hurt so much..
It’s now a little over one month Clearly, around one week after the revision surgery, I was enjoying the happiness of having the thick capsule removed and returning to normal breasts, but the truth is, now I do feel anxious too
The feel is improving so much day by day that I can see it changing right away, but I guess this is an unavoidable chronic issue.. If I had carefully checked the director’s experience and the hospital’s reputation before my first surgery, I probably wouldn’t have this kind of trauma.. I really regret that..
Still, what I definitely feel is that the shape that used to look like obvious rice bowls even when I was just standing still has become balanced in size on both sides and natural-looking I’m so grateful to the director, who looked at everything in detail when designing my breasts..
I’m asking just in case, for those who had revision surgery like me, from when did you start feeling at ease?
Maybe because the hospital where I had surgery specializes in revisions, they also give a voucher for a detailed ultrasound checkup, so if I get checked one year after revision surgery and hear that there are no problems, will I be able to feel completely at ease?
