Breast Re-Surgery@breast-redo

I want breast revision surgery, but what matters most: feel or shape?

5 years ago, I had implants placed over the muscle, and my first surgery was with Matek (probably Sebbin, a soft, squishy feel similar to Motiva).

Currently, the feel is really great, but I don’t like the shapeㅠ I don’t know if they dissected the breast pocket wrong back then, but my breasts are kind of gathered together, almost like they’re about to become symmastia.

I had about 1 cm of breast tissue, underbust 65, upper bust 73 I think, and I wanted a natural look. Since my rib cage is really small, I got about 220 cc on both sides, and it’s exactly a C cup.

Because of the shape, I went for consultations for revision surgery, and first, they said they can correct the lateral breast position deformity well. The problem is these days they don’t really recommend over-the-muscle placement, so they recommended changing the method to dual plane.

(The reason doctors usually don’t like over-the-muscle placement is because of implant palpability or rippling, but luckily, because I have a bit of my own tissue and elastic skin, I don’t have those issues and the feel is just really good.)

*Reasons they recommend changing to dual plane 1. Right now, when I lie down, it looks like rice bowls. They said with dual plane, the upper breast area will become natural without looking obvious.

2. There are two types of over-the-muscle placement, and if what I had was subglandular, then for future breast disease prevention and management, I should definitely switch to dual plane. But if it was subfascial, they said it’s separated from the glandular tissue, so it doesn’t harm preventive management.

But unfortunately, ultrasound doesn’t show whether my current state is subglandular or subfascial.. (The previous clinic closed down, so I can’t find out..ㅜㅠ)

*But the downsides of dual plane that I’m thinking about 1. I think dual plane would look natural in shape, but I’m a bit worried about animation deformity..

And I do like working out. I’m not a total gym rat, but I go to the gym 1-2 times a week and do weighted chest exercises.. If I do dual plane, will I definitely get animation deformity?

2. Even if the shape becomes prettier, I’m worried the feel will get worse. And right now it’s over the muscle, and the feel is seriously like natural breasts, you know? But they said with dual plane, the muscle presses down a bit, so the feel may be slightly worse than before.

Instead, I’m going to use the same cc or smaller than before, so I won’t put in a lot. I like a full B too. I’m all about making it look natural no matter what!

I’m so, so torn about what to do.. If I do dual plane, I’m also debating whether to switch to Motiva because I’m worried the feel might seem a little noticeableㅜㅜ What would you guys do..ㅠ?
