To give you the conclusion first, the surgery turned out very natural and well done. But I don’t think it would suit people who want a glamorous look. My first surgery resulted in what is commonly called sausage eyes, so I decided on revision surgery. They said it looked that way not only because the line was thick, but more because the fixation had been made too deep. After revision, the lines on both sides were not dramatically lower when viewed alone (which I’m satisfied with), but perhaps because the fixation was released, they look much better than before and have become very natural. (There is asymmetry between the two lines.) There was also almost no swelling after surgery. The remaining swelling and slight bruising seemed to settle almost completely within two weeks, and honestly, I think daily life without wearing a hat is possible as soon as the stitches are removed.
