It has already been 60 days since my arm liposuction. At first I checked the mirror several times a day to see whether the swelling had gone down, but after about two months, I first notice that the contour looks more natural than before when I lower my arms. I had about 600 cc removed in total from my upper arms and bra-fat area. Early on there was swelling and some areas felt firm when touched, so I wondered when everything would settle, but even now at 60 days I do not consider it completely finished and am continuing to watch the changes.
The biggest difference I feel these days is when getting dressed. I used to check my arms first when wearing sleeveless clothes and take an extra outer layer, but now I wear sleeveless tops more comfortably. I can also see the gradually changing contour when I raise my arms or look from the side, so taking photos has become fun. I did not just have surgery and leave it at that. I record my weight, diet, and exercise in the hospital app and consistently do home care as well. Some days the swelling feels more noticeable depending on my condition, so I am still living with the mindset that I am in the management stage.
