16 Years After Implantable Contact Lens Surgery

16 years ago, I was told I could no longer wear soft contact lenses, and because my corneal thickness was uneven, LASIK and LASEK were both not possible. So I had implantable contact lens surgery, which was not common in Korea at the time. Back then, they checked my vision and pupil size? and everything, then had lenses custom-made in Switzerland, and once they arrived, they performed the surgery.

After the surgery, I lived very comfortably, but maybe because it has been so long.. after COVID, my vision suddenly got much worse.. Currently my vision is about 0.6, so I only wear lenses when I go out. Still, I used them comfortably for about 16 years without any problems.
