I had a bit of a protruding lower jaw, so although the main purpose of orthodontic treatment was to align my teeth neatly, a big part of it was that I wanted to set my jaw back! I have screws placed and they are pulling little by little, and people around me definitely say my jaw has gone in a bit. Eating and brushing my teeth are uncomfortable, and getting cavities treated is awkward too, but I think it is a manageable treatment. I hope the asymmetry gets corrected too haha
