Liposuction Reviews

I already had liposuction—can I remove fat again for fat grafting? An honest clinic-search and consultation review

I had body liposuction years ago when I was young and naive, removing almost all the fat from my abdomen and lower body. Honestly, even I can see there is hardly anywhere left to remove from. Later, because I disliked my facial contours, I also had a little liposuction on the lower face, from the side cheek toward the corners of the mouth. The problem is that after learning how to diet and exercise effectively, I got my body into a shape I could be satisfied with, but my face became too thin in return. If I gain enough weight for my face to look adequately full, I dislike my body shape. My proportions are off now and I am struggling. I thought it would be easy to lose weight first and then add volume to my face, so I carelessly lost weight. Then I ended up looking skeletal. I tried to consider fillers, but I had a terrible experience with fillers before and want fat grafting instead. I only want a small amount, but that requires harvesting from the body, usually the abdomen or lower body. The problem is that little remains after my previous liposuction, and my face is currently quite thin. I know very well that immediately filling it with fillers is not the answer. My current issues are: 1. My abdomen and lower body are not lumpy at all after the previous liposuction, and I like the lines. If I remove fat again, will those lines be ruined? 2. There are lumpy areas along the line from the side cheek to the mouth after the previous facial liposuction. I do not know what they are—scar tissue? Can they be improved? I do not want excessive fat grafting; that area actually looks better without fat when I look at the contour. The problem is the lumpiness, which is slight under light. 3. It seems the previous facial liposuction removed fat from areas I did not want, between the central cheek and the area near the mouth, making me look skeletal. I want to add a very small amount only there, so design seems important. 4. There is still filler in my forehead, temples, and side cheeks. They look hollow despite having filler. I need to dissolve it and have full-face fat grafting, but can it be dissolved properly? I am also considering having it dissolved elsewhere first after an ultrasound. So what I need to assess is: 1. Whether the necessary amount can be harvested evenly despite my previous liposuction, with minimal scarring. 2. Whether they can allocate the fat well based on my facial condition and design the improvements properly. 3. Whether there are actually bad reviews, whether the doctor is reasonable and able to communicate with me, and whether our goals are similar. It is hard to find reviews from people undergoing revision like me. Could you recommend a hospital? I have already visited [Clinic A], [Clinic B], [Clinic C], [Clinic D], and [Clinic E] for consultations. Each had clear drawbacks, so I cannot decide easily. [Clinic A] (solo doctor): They simply insisted it could be done—really? [Clinic B] (solo doctor [Doctor A]): This is where I had my previous facial liposuction, so is it really right to have the revision there? Honestly, they seem so focused on money that it is starting to annoy me. If I invested that much, they should have prevented me from needing revision. Why should I pay to have revision there again? I do not know. I especially wonder whether the quality matches the price. [Clinic C] (Director [Doctor B]): They said to use filler for the forehead and graft fat elsewhere, but I am worried about having forehead filler again. Is that really right? [Clinic D]: It was not good, so I passed. [Clinic E] (female director): They turned me down, saying there seemed to be no fat and it would be difficult. Everyone commonly says the first concern is whether fat can be harvested, but [Clinic A] is the only one saying it can be done. They say they have extensive experience with Japanese patients, and that does seem true. I am wary of myself because I may be leaning toward choosing [Clinic A] simply because I want to feel hopeful. [Clinic C] has many reviews, so it seems trustworthy, but I am sad that they said there would not be enough fat for the forehead. Do I really have to switch to forehead filler? As for [Clinic B]... I already had surgery there, so it should be okay, but still... When I told them about my dissatisfaction after they performed liposuction on me, their reaction was not great. The consultants also seemed too focused on luring me in financially. They did not seem that way before, but after the surgery, once I felt this was not right, I started seeing it that way more. I am worried enough to wonder whether I should trust them with my face one more time. But since they operated on me before, maybe they are still better than someone seeing my face for the first time. This is really damn hard. I am angry too... And they are the most expensive; what do you all think?
