Before-before-before, after-after-after — I brought a crazy-effective review 2 months after facial contouring;;
I had two procedures at a plastic surgery clinic — cheekbone reduction and square jaw reduction — plus forehead fat grafting and facial liposuction, and now I’m 2 months post-op. Honestly, if you only look at my face shape and size, I’m like a little Seo Ye-ji;
Before going into surgery, during the design? session, I told Director Kwon Jae-hyun that I wished my face had no angles, and he said he would do as much as possible. I really think he shaved down the bone as much as possibleㅠㅠ!! Seriously, it’s only been 2 months and my face is already this slim, so I’m thinking that after 6 months or 1 year, I might rewrite the history of face shapes…
For years, because of my facial asymmetry and prominent cheekbones, I spent time hitting my face, wondering if my cheekbones would go in if I punched my face a few times… Ha.. it was all pointless.. So I changed my thinking to something more realistic and started looking into facial contouring surgery!! Honestly, I thought about contouring for yearsㅠㅜ Especially because I was scared of side effects after cheekbone surgery, like skin sagging or hollow cheeks, I hesitated about a trillion times, but then I thought, let’s at least go for consultations! So I started going around for consultations first!
I really went to about 5-6 consultations, and there were tons of places where the director’s consultation lasted 5 minutes and then I was stuck with the consultant… but this clinic was different!! I think the consultation with the director alone lasted almost 30 minutes! He went through everything in detail one by one, from how fixation and dissection are important for the skin sagging I was worried about, to how the hollow cheeks that looked noticeable because of my cheekbones would likely improve after surgeryㅜㅜ And truly, after surgery, the shadow under my cheekbones disappeared-!! This is magic!! The consultant also didn’t pressure me at all about a deposit, told me to take my time thinking about it, and even saw me off at the door! She was totally an angel!! If anyone is hesitating over contouring, I really recommend at least getting a consultation! All the parts I had been worried about were genuinely resolved!!
Anyway, even right after surgery, the director, consultant, and operating room staff came by in turns and took care of me… I kind of felt like a princess.. lol While reading reviews, I was worried after seeing people’s faces swollen like balloons, but even on the first day my face didn’t swell much and I had no bruising, so when I looked in the mirror, I secretly thought to myself that I looked kind of cute… haha This is exactly the difference in the director’s s.k.i.l.l.
As for post-op pain, my throat seriously hurt like it was being torn apart, and the thigh where fat was removed hurt slightly like muscle soreness, but my face was honestly fine! It didn’t hurt enough that I could do it again if someone told me to!! But opening my mouth to eat was a different problem… My mouth wouldn’t open, so on the first morning and at lunch I drank protein drinks, and for dinner I ate finely blended porridge little by little with a Baskin Robbins spoon… And the next day, because I didn’t want to eat porridge, I boiled beef-bone ramen noodles, cut them up with scissors, and ate them… lol From then on, I went wild with eating.. hehe.. On the third day, I ordered mul-naengmyeon, cut it up with scissors, and slurped it with the broth… Later, when I went for treatment and told the director that I was eating way too well, he said I still needed to be careful, so I held back after that!!
After surgery, every time I went for treatment, I received swelling care, and when I came out afterward, the before-and-after difference was definitely clear! Everyone, buy extra sessions and get more! I paid for 3 more sessions, and I think that also played a part in the swelling going down quickly!?
Soon I’ll be visiting again for my 2-month follow-up, and I’m so, so grateful to all the staff, the consultant, and the director at the clinic that I feel like I should bring them a whole bunch of somethingㅜㅜ-! Thank you so much for taking good care of this whiner and making me a pretty bone beauty. These days I’m sooo~ happy~~~ Director Kwon Jae-hyun is the best-!
