Before <ear cartilage showing through on the nasal bridge> Before <columellar retraction> Before <columellar retraction> Before <scary nasolabial angle> After <nasal bridge removed, columella lowered> After <nasolabial angle lowered> After <columella and nasal tip lowered> I finally had the surgery! There were a lot of people before who said it didn’t seem like contractureㅠ I’m attaching photos; it was actually worse in person Oh, and I’m in orthodontic treatment, so please take the protruding mouth into account Considering the orthodontics, my nasolabial angle was really high..
First surgery Ear cartilage for the nasal bridge (put in on their own without consultation) Ear cartilage and septal cartilage for the nasal tip Hump osteotomy
-> Unevenness? and show-through of the ear cartilage on the nasal bridge, nasal tip contracture, columellar retraction, pyogenic granuloma inflammation inside the nose, saddle nose from excessive septal cartilage harvesting, and because my ear got deformed, my AirPods fall out easily when I walk around^^
Side effects appeared right away 2-3 months after surgery I had internal pain almost immediately after surgery, from when I applied ointment
I searched like crazy for removal surgery.. I was told everywhere that complete removal was not possible, so the nasal tip was lowered with ear cartilage The result looks like my original nose with the hump shaved down
I went for consultations around months 4-5, received antibiotic treatment for the pyogenic granuloma found during consultation, and lived wearing a mask until 6 monthsㅠㅠ The contracture kept getting worse, so as soon as I reached 6 months, I had surgery..
I didn’t drink alcohol, quit my job for 2-3 months and rested from work, and took care of it like it was something precious, you know? But it still ended up like this, even though it was a no-implant surgery
What I want to say is.. I think people take rhinoplasty too lightly, so I hope you think it through carefully before doing itㅠㅠ
I only planned to shave down the hump, so I had it done together with rhinitis surgery by an ENT specialist, but I ended up with an unwanted result, inflammation, and contracture.. The removal cost a huge amount tooㅠㅠ
I am in talks with the first-surgery clinic about compensation for damages Nothing has been decided yet, but I just hope it gets resolved well Now that I’ve had the surgery, I feel relieved inside~~ I’ll come back with more updates!
