I am in my early 30s, and my concerns were mild ptosis, asymmetry, and increasingly prominent double creases. I visited places in September, and since it was not peak season, weekdays were quiet. 1. [Clinic A], Dr. [Doctor A] I went because I heard they were good with eyes. It was unmistakably a factory-style clinic. The coordinator explained the surgical method roughly before the doctor came in (she was fairly kind). The doctor seemed to have come straight from surgery, was wearing surgical clothes, and looked busy. He set the design and said that for non-incisional surgery they would match the larger left eye, while for incisional surgery they would enlarge both eyes somewhat to match them. After that he only asked whether I had questions. I asked a few, and when I said I had no more, he left. (I liked the design.) Same-day and review discounts were available. The doctor seemed skilled, but the reviews were a little... (When I tried to cancel later after making a reservation, the coordinator would not answer the phone, lol.) 2. [Clinic B], Dr. [Doctor B] I went because I heard they also did revision surgery and pursued natural designs. Consultation fee: 5,000 won. It felt like an old neighborhood clinic. I was consulted directly by the doctor and then the coordinator. The doctor’s consultation was the longest and most detailed. Non-incisional surgery was possible, but he recommended incisional surgery. He adjusted the design several times and answered all my questions. The coordinator was not the kind of coordinator we usually imagine, but more like a local middle-aged woman who had apparently worked there for a long time. She was kind during the consultation. There were no same-day or review discounts. The downside was that there were hardly any reviews. 3. [Clinic C], Dr. [Doctor C] I went because I had seen reviews saying they were good at revision surgery and that it was a one-doctor clinic. They seemed to perform more surgery on women, and since the doctor was a woman, her aesthetic sense seemed good. But someone had said that although it was a one-doctor clinic, it felt like a factory, and it was similar. The doctor looked busy and saw patients wearing surgical clothes. I liked the design, but she kept saying that everything could be solved with non-incisional surgery and urging me to try it. The incisional price was too high. Same-day and review discounts were available. There were not many reviews from men. 4. [Clinic D], Dr. [Doctor D] I went because it was a one-doctor clinic and I heard they did both male eyes and noses. Consultation fee: 10,000 won (deducted if surgery was booked). It was in a new building, and they were kind and explained things well. The order was coordinator–doctor–coordinator. The coordinator did not decide the method in advance; the doctor designed and diagnosed everything. He recommended non-incisional surgery, saying it could solve everything. I liked that they accommodated all my design requests, and I also liked the doctor’s aesthetic sense. Same-day and review discounts were available. 5. [Clinic E], Dr. [Doctor E] I went for a consultation because he was very famous for male eye correction. Consultation fee: 30,000 won. Coordinator–doctor–coordinator. It was a typical factory-style clinic where I had to keep moving between consultation rooms. The coordinator gave a rapid-fire explanation and said it looked like I would need incisional surgery first. The doctor was also wearing surgical clothes and looked busy, and did not examine or consult with me particularly carefully. But perhaps a master is a master: he diagnosed at a glance that I needed incisional surgery. Because the opening strength of my right eye was weak, he said only incisional surgery could correct it properly and did not recommend non-incisional surgery. He designed the eyes very naturally, answered a few questions, and the consultation ended in under ten minutes. Same-day and review discounts were available. Although my ptosis was mild, I was diagnosed with it and did need eye correction. However, the recommendations split three for incisional and two for non-incisional surgery, so I agonized over the method until the end. I have had surgery now, and if the reactions are good, I may also post a review after surgery.

Eye Surgery Reviews@eye-reviewSep 24 [Clinic A] review
Every other clinic said ptosis correction was not essential, but perhaps it was the surgeon’s preference or something; they said I definitely needed it, which was disappointing. Looking at the before-and-after photos, the eyes also looked…
