Eye Surgery Considerations

Prima community review

At some point after my nose surgery, the tip began turning red frequently, and it felt as though the silicone on the bridge was showing through, which kept bothering me. At first I thought it might be temporary and planned to observe it a little longer, but once I also felt a foreign-body sensation in my nose, I became anxious that it might lead to inflammation or capsular contracture, so I eventually removed all the implants and cartilage placed in my nose. The most important thing I considered while visiting consultations was not how pretty my nose would become after removal, but how much experience the director had with nose-removal surgery. The materials used in the first surgery differ from person to person, and the condition inside the nose and the extent that must be removed also differ, so I treated other people’s reviews only as references. I think I considered it more important whether they explained specifically what materials were in my nose and how they would remove them. Rather than simply looking at before-and-after shapes, I thought it was important to prioritize whether the director had handled many removal cases and whether the surgical method was tailored to my nasal condition. After removal surgery, my nose looked unfamiliar at first, but as time passed I gradually adapted and it became more comfortable. Most satisfying of all was that the psychological anxiety caused by the persistent redness of the tip and foreign-body sensation decreased. If anyone around me says they are going to have nose surgery, I always strongly discourage them. I guess I will no longer keep going in and out of this community and the removal forum. I hope everyone considering removal succeeds..
